Brown delivered a powerful keynote at USC’s Space Cybersecurity with AI event, emphasizing the importance of proactive innovation in national defense. Speaking at USC’s main campus, he highlighted how the Department of the Air Force is strategically investing in AI to augment human decision-making—enabling faster, smarter responses in an evolving space domain.

Brown also shared the U.S. #SpaceForce’s five core competencies: space security, combat power projection, space mobility & logistics, information mobility, and space domain awareness. He stressed the urgency of delivering these capabilities to ensure our National security keeps pace with the speed of technological change.

The two-day workshop was hosted by the USC Center for Research in Space Technologies, supporting cross-disciplinary innovation in space exploration and cybersecurity.
